The John Holmes Trail Run is enjoying its 33nd running in 2025. Until 2006 it was simply called the Croom Trail 50K. In 2006 Race Director JimBodoh, a long time Croom Trail Runner, renamed the race in honor of founder and Croom Trail staple, John Holmes.
